The side barriers ensure that missed balls do not leave the shot area. If you are using the net indoors or in an area where missed balls are a safety issue, the side barriers are essential. Many golfers also choose the side barriers when they want to let "friends and family" hit the net. If you are a proficient golfer or are using the Pro or Home Series outdoors where safety is not a concern, the side barriers are not essential.
materials & assembly
Made from polyester mesh, the Side Barriers set up in less than 5 minutes and pack easily into your pocket or carry. Each side protection panel is individually cut and sewn by hand. They are sold in pairs (right and left) and can be extended straight or set at a greater angle as required. The protection nets are tensioned using sandbags, four of which (one for each side protection) and two are attached to the rear of the frame. The side barriers can be slid into the front of the frame when not in use to reclaim lost floor space.
